Biography

Maher Ben Chiekh is a Professor at the National School of Engineers, Monastir, University of Monastir, Tunisia, with over two decades of teaching and research experience in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and renewable energy systems.

Prof. Ben Chiekh began his academic career as a teaching assistant in 2000, was promoted to assistant professor in 2004, hired as an associate professor in 2013, and achieved full professor status in 2018.

He is the Director of the Laboratory for Energy & Thermal Systems Studies (LESTE) since 2021 and is the Manager of the Common Services Research Unit for Particle Image Velocimetry Equipment.

Throughout his career, Prof. Ben Chiekh has engaged in numerous research projects, both nationally and internationally, securing various grants and collaborating with institutions in France, Canada, and Germany. His work spans multiple areas, including flow control techniques, ultrasound thrombolysis, and energy system modelling.
