THESIS

Title: Study and optimization of polygeneration systems for green electricity production

Supervisor : Professor Abdelmajid JEMNI (LESTE- ENIM)

Date of first enrollement :  December 2022

Topic: This research aims to investigate and optimize polygeneration systems, which integrate multiple energy outputs from renewable resources, focusing on the critical parameters that impact their performance. The primary objective is to establish the most efficient and sustainable conditions for the production of green electricity. In this context, green electricity refers to electricity generated exclusively from renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, or hydropower. Central to this process is the use of green hydrogen, produced through the electrochemical process of Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolysis, which contributes to both energy storage and generation. By analyzing and optimizing these systems, the research seeks to enhance the overall efficiency and environmental sustainability of green electricity production.
